Hospitalists direct and coordinate your care, but always stay in contact with your primary care doctor about your health. Having hospitalists on staff means that doctors who specialize in inpatient medicine are in rotation 24/7. Referrals to community resources, such as support groups, financial assistance programs and long-term counseling.Ī hospitalist is part of a team of doctors who specialize in caring for you while you're in the hospital.Help with completing advance directives.Guidance about communicating with children, family and employers regarding illness.Financial help with insurance and issues paying for care.After you leave the hospital, they can also help arrange continued help at home. There will be intermittent construction noise associated with the work in the vicinity of the impacted area. This renovation will enhance the safety and security of our medical center for employees, patients and visitors all while enhancing the overall appearance. The renovation will take several months to complete. Beginning May 23, 2023, we will be conducting major renovation work in the lobby of the North Hospital Pavilion at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center.
