![]() ![]() I have had to go through my Junk folder every day to retrieve messages I should be getting normally. On the stats, it shows 48% false negatives. If it would be helpful to see stats, I can send a screen shot. The stats say I literally have thousands of blacklist and whitelist rules. Should I do a massive reset on SpamSieve and start over with the filtering? My stats began in 2006, so one thought is that something has just gone out of whack. I have identified the mail manually as “good” many times, marked it as not junk, dragged it to my Inbox, then marked “not junk” and “good.” I do not that it seems that a high percentage of good messages end in the Spam filter. For users who are skeptical of committing to a program without having tested it, SpamSieve offers a 30-day trial, during which users have access to the entire. A few messages go into the Spam folder I set up, and I curate them as needed. There are some threads about this in the AirMail forum. I’d like SpamSieve to work with AirMail, however since its filtering is not extensible and it doesn’t support AppleScript, this would need support from the AirMail developers. Let me know if you want the domains, if that makes a difference. It is my hope that the developers of SpamSieve are aware of this app and thinking of supporting it. Once youâve set up SpamSieve with your email program, you have to teach it what is good mail and what is spam. I use multiple email accounts and all seem affected. SpamSieve is designed to work with Mac OS 10.2.6 through 10.3.2 and works with Apple Mail, eMailer, Entourage 9.0.1 and later, Eudora 5.2 and later, Mailsmith 1.5 and later, and PowerMail 4.0 and later. According to their support forum it is because Microsoft eliminated AppleScript ability in the new version. I just updated/upgraded to Office 365s Outlook 2016 (Version 15) and it doesnt work with it. Is the email getting diverted at a server level. SpamSieve in Outlook 15 (Office 2016) Ive been using a small program, SpamSieve, in Outlook for MANY years. Some come from lists I subscribe to and get via email, e.g. Some of these messages are mass produced, but I would like to see them, e.g. Yet I see a good deal of email going into a Junk folder. I have the SpamSieve rule set up as I have for years, Enable junk mail filtering is off. The issue: I am seeing multiple good emails getting diverted to the Junk mail folder. I am not sure exactly when it began.īackground. Thanks for this great product.įor some reason, it seems as if I see a new and unwanted behavior on my office iMac. I have been a happy SpamSieve user for multiple years. ![]()
